Single-ply business cards run 250–600 gsm on cotton, bamboo, kraft, metallic and soft-touch stocks; duplex and triplex cards laminate two or three plies to 600–1000 gsm, often with a contrasting colour core that becomes a design feature on the cut edge. Greeting cards and invitations fold on lighter text-weight stock with matching envelopes, printed liners and ribbon ties.
Edge treatment is where premium cards separate themselves — painted, foiled or gilded edges in any Pantone or metallic, plus bevelled and rounded-corner cuts. Invitation suites are assembled with belly bands, envelope liners, hand-tied ribbon and wax or foil-stamped seals, so what arrives is a set rather than a single card.
Deep-impression letterpress presses into cotton, bamboo and handmade papers for a tactile bite you can feel; sheet-fed offset handles fine process colour and larger runs; digital toner runs versioned and short-run cards; and screen printing lays down the opaque white and metallic inks other methods cannot. On top of the print we add hot foil, blind and registered deboss, spot UV and lamination.
Method drives the minimum: digital from 100 cards, letterpress from 500, offset from 1,000, with a 6–14 day production window plus transit. Send finished artwork or just a reference, and prepress sets trim, bleed, safe area and a separate layer for each foil and deboss pass before anything goes to press.
